PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION!!!
Taichi stood, frozen to the spot.
Staring back at him was the barrel of a gun! Ikoji was aiming his weapon straight at him. The tall man towered over Taichi as he had always done.
Childhood fear began churning in his stomach but Taichi managed to find his voice as Ikoji glared at him,
"After everything you've done, and all the stuff you said to me about being tough, you resort to a gun?"
A menacing grin creeped across Ikoji's face. The grin Taichi hated to see but this time he forced himself to stare back. He was no longer that scared little boy. He was Digi-destined and even though Agumon was no where to be found, he still felt he had a duty to his friends to prove to them that he was and always will be their leader and worthy of his crest.
"DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT!?" Shouted Ikoji. "I hate that look. You remember what happened the last time you gave me that look?"
"Y-yes," He answered.
Still aiming the gun at Taichi, Ikoji said,
"I don't get it!? What on Earth do you think will become of you now? You can't run and you know perfectly well that I have no intention of sparing you? So why? Why bother?"
Taichi thought for a moment.
"For this," He reached into his pocket and pulled out his digivice.
"For this," he repeated. " And everything it stands for."
"Hmph! Can't say I'll miss these pointless ramblings of yours. You always did say stupid stuff as a kid. I should have beat you harder, and that way I might have knocked the stupidity right out of you!!"
"I'M NOT STUPID!!" Yelled back Taichi.
Ikoji was horrified! Never had Taichi EVER answered him back let alone yelled at him!!
"What did you say?" Ikoji choked as he said it.
"I said I'm not stupid! I'm Taichi Yagami and I am Digi-Destined! I am the bearer of the crest of Courage and I have a Digimon partner called Agumon!"
Ikoji was, for once lost for words. A feeling of unspeakable rage was building inside with every word Taichi spoke.
"I'm not afraid of you anymore! And I'm not running anywhere." Said Taichi defiantely.
"Good," Said Ikoji calmly. "That means this will be easy!"
He pulled the trigger and sent bullets straight for Taichi.
What happened next happened too quickly for Taichi to even react. From out of the trees, came running Yamato! He dived for Taichi, throwing him to the ground. 3 pops rang out into the wilderness as Taichi came to his senses.
Yamato lay face down on the ground, blood trickling down the path.
"Yamato!?" Shouted Taichi.
He knelt beside his friend, pulling him towards him. Yamato's chest was bleeding heavily. Taichi, unsure of what to do, put his hand to the wound hoping if he could apply pressure long enough, their friends would turn up and help them.
"Yamato? Hey, Yamato?"
"You're . . . an. . . . . idiot! Do you . . . .know that?" Answered Yamato.
"Just hang in there. I'm sure everyone will be on their way."
"Sorry, Taichi. I'm. . . . . on my own!"
"What?!"
"Don't worry! I'll be fine. . . . . . . . But. . . . "
"What?"
"Your need to . . . . . . pick your fights better . . . . coz . . . . . this one wasn't yours"
"Yamato, you dare!"
"Sorry. . . . . . .I dare. . . ."
He let out a small sigh and fell quiet. Taichi didn't move. He couldn't move.
"No. . . . not you. . . . . not you too!"
The feeling of having lost came flooding back! Something he hadn't felt in so long came back stronger than ever and he couldn't hold himself together anymore.
His eyes filled with tears, he cradled his friend in his arms.
After a few moments, he lay Yamato gently to the ground and got to his feet. He walked off into the woods after Ikoji.
Another person had died for him. He wasn't about to let it happen again!

Now before everyone jumps on the band wagon, THIS IS NOT SHOUNEN-AI/YAOI!!!!
Let me make that quite clear, I have no problem with either but this was never intended to be one.
Right, some info for you, Ikoji is the villian! If you want to know eveything in detail please note me coz this description is huge already lol
In general I think I over did it with the injuries but meh
If anyonr knows of any "crying/tears" tutorials, I'd like to know lol

Being a yaoi fan myself I didn't actually think this was implying anything. But to be honest, that's probably because I'm not one of those yaoi fans who makes a yaoi pairing out of everything XD
I don't think you've over done it with the wounds, the pose is excellant and the emotion in it is so strong. Great job.
